When your friends are looking at the big harvest moon,everyone in awe of the beautiful evening, you’ll be able to say, “Yes, but it’s so dark!”
So what do you practice in your life? If you practice peace, you’ll get very good at it.
If you practice joy or happiness, you’ll get very good at it.
If you practice knowing yourself, you’ll get very good at it.
You will know who you are. When you begin to know yourself, you begin to realize what a gift you are and the value of every breath that you are being given.
你練習的是什麼?不管練習什麼,就會熟能生巧。
練習抱怨,你會變得非常善於抱怨,
你會變得對什麼都抱怨。
你的朋友仰望著中秋的圓月,
每個人對美麗的夜晚讚歎有加,
可是你卻說:「是啊,可就是太暗了。」
所以,你在生活中練習的是什麼?
如果你練習的是平和,那麼你會變得擅長於此。
如果你練習的是喜悅和幸福,那麼你會變得擅長於此。
如果你練習的是認識自己,那麼你會變得擅長於此。
你會知道你是誰。
當你開始認識自己時,
你就認識到自己是多麼美妙的禮物,
並認識到自己被賦予的每一口氣的價值。
